David Watson Stevenson, Robert Louis Stevenson

A prolific Scottish sculptor, David Watson Stevenson trained in Edinburgh and Rome. He created public monuments and portrait busts in marble and bronze. In 1901 he exhibited a bronze version of the statuette of Robert Louis Stevenson at the Royal Hibernian Academy Annual Exhibition in Dublin.
