Imperial Tagmata infantry

Elite Infantry formations first constituted by Constantine V, the Tagma (or Tagmata) formed the core of the Byzantine Empire for 3 centuries. These troops formed a professional, elite core with which Constantine V could defend his holdings from both external enemies and internal revolts. Sculptor: Toan Tran
