Kovosh were once human... Perhaps they are now grotesque reflections of their former selves. Warped beyond recognition by the necromantic magic and the foul corruption of the rotting flesh they feast upon. To keep them bound, vampires and necromancers embed shards of necromantic stone deep into their flesh. Cursed relics that poison as much as they control. Most perish under the strain... But a few endure, and grow stronger. Transformation survivors are marked, chosen by the relics. Agonizing
