Several variants of the Rodela halftrack have been produced, attempting to put the sturdy chassis to use in a variety of roles. The first major variant to be produced was a fully-enclosed hardtop transport. Sacrificing easy access to external and pintle weaponry, the TA/H-3(B) is often used for armored reconnaissance troops or in an ambulance role.
