Mobile Beam Generator

Are things that you printed filling all of your horizontal surfaces? Now you can display them vertically by hanging them as a mobile!

Just enter in the weights (and names) of each object that you want to include in the customizer to generate beams for a mobile. Print BeamsOnly and use AssemblyInstructions to attach everything in the correct order. I used twist tie wire to connect all the parts.

Be careful about objects and materials if you are going to let a baby near your mobile. My new niece is safely on the other side of the planet from the mobile in the picture.

I printed in PLA, but this would be a good project for laser-cut acrylic or even drilling holes in Popsicle sticks. Just set the material density appropriately (usually easy to look up online). If you are going to add heavier objects, take care to scale parts for structural strength.
