Mobile Clamps

This design provides clamps that can be used when constructing mobiles where objects are balanced to hang from rods using strings. Round or square rods can be used. Th STL files provides allow for 4mm diameter round or 4mm square rods. Square basswood rods can be readily purchased from stores such as Hobby Lobby. The OpenSCAD file is provided to allow for dimension changes.

The clamps can be used to connect one, two or three rods. String holes are provided for hanging objects or other clamps. The clamps can be slid to the desired position on a rod. The fit is firm enough to avoid the need for gluing.
