I designed this rocket as well as the launch pad with the free software Onshape.
I didn't want to design any launch lugs on this model, so therefore I designed my own custom launchpad. I used superglue too glue the feet to the pad, it works, but I still wish to redesign the feet.
IMPORTANT: Make sure to launch the rocket in a safe area and make sure you're at a safe distance during launch. Also: I found the rocket to diverge very quickly from a vertical trajectory if the launch pad wasn't set straight.
This rocket can be used with engines with a diameter of 18mm and a length of well over 70mm. For me the engine hole was a bit too big, so I clamped the engine with a piece of paper.
It was succesfully launched using C- and D-motors with a delay charge of 3s.
I used an 18 inch parachute and Klima recovery wadding.
The 'hook' inside the rocket is where you can attach the shockcord. It's stronger than it looks.
