Modern Fluted Trash Bin (with Liner-Locking Ring)

About This Project
In my journey of learning FreeCAD, I wanted to design my first custom trash bin, keeping the multi-material capabilities of my Creator 5 in mind. The design features a sleek, fluted exterior and includes a small, custom-fit inner ring to hold your trash bag perfectly in place. The ring is intentionally designed with a slight tolerance to allow for a bit of flex. Simply place the bag inside the ring, fold it over the top, and press the assembly into the bin to pinch and lock the bag securely.
The version shown in the image was printed as a multi-material project without a prime tower! Instead of wasting filament on a tower, I enabled the Print Infill First setting. After running a few successful test prints with primitive shapes, I took the gamble on the full model, and it paid off beautifully. To elevate the look even further, I applied a fuzzy skin modifier strictly to the top rim to give it a premium, fabric-like textured effect.
