Modern Glasses Case

A modern glasses case, witch features a satisfying clasp-mechanism. The inner dimensions are roughly 140x50x40mm. For the assembly you will need:4x nail with a diameter of 1,4mm and a lenght of max. 25mm.1x M3 threaded insert.1x M3x8 countersunk screw(optional: felt mat that can be glued into the body and lid.) Advice for printing:Print the TPU part for the clasp first.I added a pause in the clasp print. You have to insert the TPU part into the clasp and let the print continue. looks like this from the sidethis is the orientation how the pieces should be inserted into the clasp.the narrower side facing up.you can sand the layer-lines away from the angled area of the clasp, to enshure a smooth closing experience.sand this surface smoothThis is the orientation of the hinges.The hinge itself doesnt move, only the lid.
