I took the original and reworked it for my van which has a standard on the front of dash USB socket for Android Auto. It should work for literally any vehicle with the USB port on the front of the dash. I added an extended arm to the bottom to prevent cantilever downforce being applied to the USB socket as a result of the device weight especially during vehicle movement. I also modified it to hold a right angled USB-A to USB-C cable by creating a slot to seat the USB-A and a pin to close it. This weakened the top slightly so I extended that further back creating a more rigid shape.
The USB-A side slots sideways into the hole at the side and there is an L shaped cotter pin which then fits in to hold it in place (I chose to glue the cable and cotter pin in place to make it a solid unit. There are also 2 almost square blocks these fit in the main area of the top behind where the AA unit sits, they basically hold the USB-A cable from the back and help lock it in place (again I glued
