Anet A2 – Modular A Carriage System

The design is a replacement for the standard Anet A2 carriage with the option of easy change of the hotend. The design has the same amount of mass as the original carriage, but with all new features included as well.

Features: internal structures for applying more stiffness, embedded metal mounting nuts, embedded screw heads for the wheels, side brackets for tools like auto level sensor, embedded belt tensioners, mounting holes for quick electrical connector, mount for cable chain on the back side and V-Slot for hotend mounts.

The hotend mounts is targeted for Original Anet A2, E3D V6 and later the CR-10

The basic idea of the design is to keep the mass low, for higher speed and precision in combination with the flexibility of hotend quick changes. All V-Slot brackets included is therefor for Bowden systems.

It is recommended to use a M4 thread tool in the hole for mounting the 7x7 mm cable chain. M4 nuts pressed into position by a tool
