This is my final project for my 3D printing class. It's a fully modular action figure with print in place joints and multiple dual extrusion pieces. The head, chest (not in the final build because it broke), back, and feet are all printed on an Ultimaker 3 with black and silver filament for all except the head which is printed with silver and green for the eyes. The armor pieces must be printed with the snaps facing up otherwise the sockets will spread out too much from being on the bed and the snaps will be too brittle from being supported by the support material which is how the chest piece broke. The arms are printed at a 0.06mm layer height on an Ultimaker 2 so that the pivot joint in the shoulders and wrist do not fuse together. The armor is still rough and I would like to redesign it to make a more printer friendly version and I couldn't quite get it tight enough without the joints fusing to make it pose-ably so it's essentially a rigid doll.
