Modular Chess Pieces

Hi everyone,Here are my nut-and-bolt–style chess pieces!The design has three main parts: the base, the middle section, and a swappable head. The middle section screws onto the base, so you can adjust the height of the piece. Then, the head screws onto the middle section.Because it’s modular, you can turn a pawn into a queen (or any other piece) just by swapping the head and adjusting the height. It’s a fun design for anyone who likes the rugged, industrial look of nuts and bolts.I printed mine in PLA at 0.12 mm layer height for better details and strong threads. The threads might feel a bit tight at first, but after one round of screwing and unscrewing, they move as smoothly as butter.Happy printing!
