Keep your workspace clean and tidy with this Swing Lid Bin, a specialized addition to my modular magnetic storage system. Designed like a miniature trash can, it features a balanced swing lid that self-centers after use, making it perfect for discarding small scraps like wire clippings, support material, or 3D printer purge lines without having to open a lid every time. Of course, it still connects magnetically on all four sides to any other box in the collection! πŸŽ₯ Project Video: https://youtu.be/Xr5sqjnZv1s πŸ“‚ See the Full Collection: https://makeronline.com/en/user/collectionDetail/c70ef01f-0e39-473d-991e-755b3dda7ba7/262131.html Key Features: Swing Lid Mechanism: The print-in-place style lid rotates freely and uses gravity to stay closed, keeping mess out of sight. Deep Storage: Taller bucket design maximizes volume for waste or bulk items. Fully Modular: Connects magnetically on all 4 sides to other containers in the series. Stackable: Can still be stacked with other units in the system. Easy Access: Push to open, release to closeβ€”operated easily with one hand. Hardware Required: 8x Rectangular Neodymium Magnets (10x5x2 mm) per box. Assembly Tip: Pay close attention to polarity when installing magnets to ensure all your boxes snap together correctly! Optional: Super glue (CA glue) may be needed depending on your printer's tolerances. Fusion 360 Source Files: Want to customize this design or create your own compatible modules?
