Modular Sieve Box for Particle Separation

The modular sieve box offers a flexible and efficient solution for separating particles of different sizes. It consists of a stable base and stackable layers that can be expanded as needed. By screwing together the inserts that hold the nylon sieves with the desired mesh size, the sieves are securely tensioned, ensuring reliable and straightforward handling.
The system allows for the simultaneous processing of up to six samples. Each insert features a convenient outlet for clean and effortless discharge of separated particles.
To minimize electrostatic charging of particles, it is recommended to print the inserts using ESD-PLA.
The separation occurs in three levels: larger particles on top, target-sized particles in the middle, and the finest particles at the bottom. Thanks to its open design, the box can be quickly adapted to specific requirements and flexibly expanded, making it perfect for precise and scalable separation processes.
