Made for: OpenLicht in collab with https://beta2shape.de/
Designer: Irene Pérez Soto

This is a modular lamp intended for the LichtWoche contest. The first design was made to be used with magnets (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNwazwBUMwY) to make the electrical connections, but it wasn't reliable enough, so we changed the conexions with pin headers. This lamp can now be shaped in any way you want using corners and straight pieces. Just print and assemble as many pieces as you like and play with it.
It uses Neopixel strips and the Gesture Board (made for OpenLicht proyects).
In this version, it needs to have a specific piece at the beginning (power) and at the end (board), but that is not needed since neopixels can be powered and controlled from the same end (the top one).
There is a more detailed PDF on how to build it.
You could also control the leds with an arduino and a gesture sensor or a button.
