MOLLE Belt Clip

This Clip is based on the MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) system, but about 50% larger. Normal 1" scale clips are too weak to be reliable using 3D printed plastic. At this size they are big enough to clip onto a normal waist belt, and can carry significant load. These should attach to and standard nylon webbing of the correct width.

I measured various belts and found they range widely in width and thickness, typically 38mm (1.5") +/- 4mm, and 3-5mm thickness. The ease of attachment and removal depends heavily on these measures being well matched to the design, so I've provided 3 widths.

It has a large bolt mounting hole (8mm hole, 12mm head) and four screw holes (4mm recessed). This will allow a typical 1/4" nut and bolt for mounting a camera stabilizer or other fairly heavy gear.

The openings are slightly larger than the belt they should accommodate.
