Yes, I prefer cards to cash but there are still places where cash is the only way. I prefer banknotes but I am not that rich to tip all the vendors with all the change, so even when I do not like it I end up with some coins. I have two main issues with carrying coins:
01/ they make noise
02/ it's hard to know how much I actually have and I do not want to be that guy who is slowing the whole queue trying to count if I have enough change to pay for something.

This simple M.O.L.L.E. COINPLATE kinda solves both issues. Unfortunately due to different coin sizes in different currencies many designs has to exist, first flush includes CZK, USD, EUR, JPY. There is a Cinema4D customizable file and blank (no holes) .stl file. When creating your own make the holes match the size of the coin and print from flexible filament.
