The [Mona 21 is a kit](https://acoustic-design-online.de/de/mona-21.html) for a compact and inexpensive 2.1 speaker system with amazing sound quality. Details and info on the assembly can be found in [Udo's magazine article](https://www.acoustic-design-magazin.de/2016/08/19/mona-2-1/) (in german).

This project describes the production of the satellite boxes from concrete.

The mould of the boxes is printed with PLA. It consists of an inner and an outer mould. The inner mould remains in the model and is also used to screw the speaker and the luster terminal. The outer mould is reusable.

The inner mould consists of 2 parts that are glued together. The outer mould has to be sanded carefully so that it can be removed easily. I also coated it with petroleum jelly as a release agent. If you do not remove the support structures, it is easier to clamp the mould together at the end. The inner mould is screwed to the 4 holes for the speakers.
