The [Mona 21 is a kit](https://acoustic-design-online.de/de/mona-21.html) for a compact and inexpensive 2.1 speaker system with amazing sound quality. Details and info on the assembly can be found in [Udo's magazine article](https://www.acoustic-design-magazin.de/2016/08/19/mona-2-1/) (in german).
Since the satellites are relatively compact, they are in suitable for printing in my Ultimaker 2+ with its space of 20x20x20cm.
Theoretically, one satellite box could be printed in one piece in the FDM printer. However, the support structures that are necessary in any case can be removed more easily if you print a satellite in two parts and then glue them together. To prevent the two halves from shifting when glued together, 2mm holes are provided in the model. I put 2mm studs in one half - and the second half is then precisely fixed. For gluing I used 2-component epoxy glue. As the glued areas are visible, I would add a little matching colour pigment to the glue next time.
