This is a monitor riser I made. There is an option to add a middle shelf. My desk is a countertop from Lowes, and then I purchased the matching backsplash that I turned into the monitor riser. The backsplash boards are 4x1 (actual dimensions 4 x .75 as listed on lowes website) and 8ft long. I cut 2 boards out of it to 3ft each. The middle board was something I picked up from Hobby Lobby, but I don't remember what it's called. It is roughly 4.2mm thick, and I did cut it down from when I bought it. The width I cut to 8" and the length I cut down to around 14". I also created a pen and small book holder that fits into the hexs on the side. The bookholder isn't something I can use because my monitors are not high enough, but I did include a picture of how it looks. I also added some non-slip furniture tape to the bottom of the legs just to help them stay in place if they get bumped.
