I needed to free up desk space so I designed these to mount a monitor on the wall. This design uses a variation of a French Cleat. You probably want to find a 90-degree adaptor for your HDMI cable.
The cleat has small holes and large holes. The large holes are for screws (be sure you find a stud!) and the small holes are a secondary/safety for nails. If you are installing this by yourself, then you can put nails in the small holes to hold the cleat in place while you drill.
Notes :
-The screw holes in the cleat are staggered and at an angle in order to (1) reduce the weight suspended by the cradle (increase the weight suspended by the cleat) and (2) increase the probability you screw into a stud.
-If you screw too tightly, then the gap between the cleat and the wall will be tight and you may have to back out the screw.
-The "cradles" are mounted in the cleats.
-The "cradle supports" slide into the cradles **AFTER** they are mounted in the cleats.
-The "center support" wraps
