Monorail Track

This set of track pieces lets you build your own die-cast monorail train compatible track.

A 90 degree turn is made out of 3 curved track pieces. Straight track pieces are 150mm long. And the supports are around 90mm high. Each piece in this set prints in about an hour with very little material.

The pieces are easy to assemble and snap in place, and can be easily taken apart again to create different layouts. The smallest possible complete layout requires 12 curved track pieces, and 12 supports.

Unlike the currently available monorail track pieces, this set is not modeled after the Walt Disney World monorail play set, and is not compatible with the play set.

Instead, this set is designed with static models in mind where the dimensions are more realistic in proportion to the die-cast monorail train. The track pieces and supports do not offer enough support for the train to be pushed around unless some supports are held in place since the track weighs less than the train.
