Monster Hunter Stories Elders egg

The Elders egg from Monster Hunter Stories, 3d modelled with paint guides.

There are 3 files available:
- Solid whole version
- Solid half version
- Hollow half version (Recommended)

Since printing curved surfaces on a flat bed is not ideal, the best way instead is to print a hemisphere 2x separately. If you wish to keep it hollow and use it as a container (and attach a hinge inside) print the hollow version, but include a support in the centre to hold up the roof of the print. If you want 1 whole piece print the solid version and glue the 2 pieces together.

Even if your bed is levelled it may not be actually 100% flat, so when you attach the 2 parts together there may be a gap, this can fixed with with either superglue + baking soda, or a soldering iron + spare filament, and feed it into the gap to weld it shut, then lots of sandpaper.
