This is an optimized re-mesh of a chassis that was posted with some mesh issues (multiple overlapping objects causing complex/unnecessary interior geometry).
This is the same model dimensions, but with a single unified mesh properly placed at the center of the coordinate system.
The goal was a print that would not need supports, print in one piece, and do it quickly.
Test print was fairly quick. No infill, no supports, only brims on both axel enclosures to prevent from collapsing.
Print Time: 52 minutes
Printer: Snapmaker 2.0 A350
Filament: Black PLA 1.75mm
Speed: 60mm/s
Layer Height: 0.24mm
Nozzle Temp: 205c
Bed Temp: 50c
I suspect if I lowered the temp a little bit and slowed down the speed I might be able to still print in under an hour without any loop artifacts, but I doubt my son will ever notice minor cosmetic defects
