A simple model visualizing the Moon’s orbit around the Earth and the lunar phases based on its position relative to the Earth and Sun.Print Settings : Default Ender3 V3 KE Hyper PLA Settings, with "Overhang Optimization (Beta)" Enabled under Quality (Advance Parameters)AssemblyWhat you will need :- All 3D Printed Parts- LED, Resistor, Power Source or any Light Source (Optional)Steps :0.1. Put 5mm LED Light inside the bigger Sphere (Sun)0.2. Route the wire through the hole in Sun Sphere's peg and wire it up1. Place the Sun's peg in the bigger hole in the Base Plate2. Put the Moon's peg (smallest sphere) through the hole in arm of the Earth peg sleeve3. Put the Earth's peg (2nd biggest sphere) through the Earth peg sleeve4. Place the Earth's peg in the smaller hole in Base PlateNote : Top half of Spheres having little bit of defects is normal and intended if you're not using supports, shouldn't be too noticeable in practice with low lightning and LED. LED isn't necessary but recommended for this model to work, it's for clarity and visualization of sunlight's effect on the Moon phase and the Earth.Made for Creality Cloud "STEAM Education - Astronomical Planet Design Contest". Thanks you for checking this out, made with love <3Update 1 : Increased Base Plate length to make lights look more accurate-ish.
