This trap is based on the idea behind a popular mosquito trap you can buy (not going to mention names) but there are reviews on youtube of this design trap if you search for just mosquito trap you will find it. A trap this size would cost around $200, but as built, only cost about $55-$70 depending on where you source the parts.
NOTE: do not attempt to make this and assemble if you are not familiar/comfortable with wiring 120-volt components. This is NOT a instructable on how to build. I am just providing parts info and 3d printable files, NOT BUILDING INSTRUCTIONS.
This design is based on a 150mm muffin fan that I already had laying around but you get one on ebay for $40 or mcmaster carr $67. The mcmaster carr part# is a 1976k35. if you search ebay for "150mm muffin" you will see several. The bulb is a UV light bulb with standard medium base. The porcelain fixture socket was $3 from home depot. the led bulb is $4 on ebay. I used fiberglass screen window material (less than $5 w
