Update 15-Oct-2016: I'm changing my MPCNC over to the HicWic universal tool mount so I've added an adapter to allow my laser mount to connect to the HicWic system. If you're using this deign with the HicWic mount then you don't need the conduit clamp. This is the laser mount I conjured up and is featured on my $100 2.8 watt laser write-up found on the vicious1 website. I wanted something that could be installed or removed in seconds and didn't want to remove my spindle to install it so this what I made up. The connector is a 4pin XLR chassis mount connector and can be found on ebay. The shroud has a channel that can accept a piece of laser shield plexi like that sold by Jtech photonics or just get a pair of tin snips and create a laser shield from a cheapo pair of laser goggles.
