UPDATE:- added complementary part for the locking tab.
Recently lost one of the two locking tab mechanisms out of my motorcycle windscreen spoiler. These spoilers are plentiful and relatively cheap online but are 'prone' to losing their locking tabs either through careless handling or simply vibrating loose.
It seems anecdotally that I'm not the only one who has had this experience so I thought I'd share my replacement tab to potentially save what would otherwise be a throw-away visor.
Print a half dozen and keep on your bike as backups - just in case.
Printing:
Quick and easy to print. I printed mine in PLA+ and it has stayed in place for many KMs but I think PETG or even ABS would be a better long term choice.
Print with a brim as it is quite small.
Orientate on the build plate for your best result to minimise supports.
