You don't actually need extra ball bearings. If you print the balls at a high resolution, it runs really smoothly. A bit of silicone spray, and it works even better.

If you own a Step 28BYJ-48, you can print the Floorplate (Step 28BYJ-48).stl as it is. If you want to use different motors and electronics, you will need to adjust the Floorplate editable.step to suit your needs.

The Floorplate (Step 28BYJ-48).stl also includes several anchor points for electronics such as a Wi-Fi module, Arduino Nano, and the step motor driver. The exact fit of these components depends on the manufacturer, so you may need to find your own solutions for securing them. However, the electronics can always be fixed in place somehow.

Otherwise, just print everything and assemble it. Have fun!
