Mouse Trap Car

For my engineering class we were assigned to make a car powered by only a mousetrap. The pulleys are a 3:1 ratio which makes the car travel further. We were tested on speed and distance. My car won in both races.
Assembly:
After all parts are printed out, glue the CD caps into the CDs with crazy glue.
Then snap bearing caps into the bearings and bearings into base. Slide pulleys onto the rods and the rods into the base. DONT FORGET TO PUT RUBBER BAND IN BEFORE YOU GLUE IN THE RODS. Add a dab of crazy glue onto where the rods and bearing caps meet. Glue the CDs to the rods and screw in the mouse trap to the base. Attach rod to the mousetrap and tie on the string depending whether you want a distance car or acceleration car.
Distance:
Tie the string onto the top of the rod and onto the axle on which the bigger pulley is on.
Acceleration:
Take off the rubber band and tie the string from the actual mouse trap bar to the axle of the rear wheels. Attach duct tape
