Moving box stacking side pices

Had some leftover 18X45 scrap wood and have two moving boxes stacked on each other to as recycling bins. Wasn't really that good as it would move and fall into the other.So I cut the wood to length and added these side pieces so the second box can be laid on the first and it is kept in place.Have not tried a third box but don't see why it would not work.
