MP Select Mini Modified Fan Holder

I have the Monoprice Select Mini V1. It is my first ever printer and I have owned it for four weeks. I read that you should try to limit the cooling when printing ABS so I have been using masking tape. I have modeled this fan shroud so that I can slide on different nozzles. While I was at it, I thought it might be handy if I could do away with the need for the screws holding the fan in place.
As I am still very new to this, I would love to have some input from more experienced printers as I am unsure about how effective the cooling and lack of it is.
NB I did have to sand the nozzle parts very slightly to get a good fit.
I used ABS from Rigid Ink my printer seems to like this stuff.
