I've seen a few wire chain attachments for the mpcnc that attach to the bearings and I didn't want to undo the bolts so I made a version that clips onto the motors.
I also modified the truck clamps to have a little extension where you can bolt on a flat piece of metal or wood so the Z wire chain has somewhere to rest.
The XY pieces have holes for M2x12 bolts and the holes to attach to the wire chains are M3xsomething. Sorry I just use a cheap M2, M3, M4 kit and grab whatever is in there. You could probably get away with just CA glue for the XY pieces.
I couldn't get any mesh boolean to work on the truck clamp extenders so I included the original truck clamp and a little extender with the same origin. If you "add part" in prusaslicer, hopefully your slicer has something equivalent, you can make the two files into one part. I took some screenshots.
Edit: Updated the stepper clip to v3, which has reinforcement around the M2 bolts because I had one of the clips snap there.
