MPCNC vacuum attachment

This a remix of brandroid64's vacuum mount. It uses the same gantry mounting strategy and rod connector STL. The design was made to work with the DW660 but I don't see why a 52mm spindle wouldn't work too.

My version is for a 2.5" hose but can be used with other diameters given the right adapter. It can be entirely 3D printed or you can cut the plates on a CNC and print the adapter. The hose guide plate is optional. Whatever your setup, make sure the weight of the hose isn't pulling on the gantry. I've suspended my hose from the ceiling using a bungee cord to minimize hose weight.

I wouldn't put the plate too close to your stock because you don't want to suck up large pieces that were cut loose. Too high, however, might limit your maximum cutting depth.
