8-27-2017 - I needed a mount for a standard endstop, so I modified the bracket. These will be *very* tight when screwed together with M3 bolts. The standard one doesn't yield more Y space.
7-3-2017 - I modified the back of the bracket to give more space, though I still recommend moving the cable holder to the rear bolt.
Also measured again on the machines using this. The bracket gets moved 6mm back. I believe it's only adding 5mm of space on the x axis based on the measurements. The switch triggers just before "closed" so that's likely the reason.
While repairing a parts mini, I noticed a couple of things about the Y limit switch. First, it was so close to the Y belt that the wiring for the switch was contacting the belt (this is not the case on my V2). Secondly, it was stopping the deck ~8mm forward of the Y carriage blocks, and there's an area of the build plate (where the leveling screws are) that's unusable as a result.
This switch moves the bracket left and back, yiel
