Inspired by Preso's design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:868477).
I wanted the flexarm & cables to enter from the side, and not the end as per Preso's original design.
I therefore created this design to meet these requirements as a variant of my alternate version of this lamp with a Gopro mount & magnetic Gopro base, see: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5204135
I have printed these using PLA, and fitted 5W MR16 LED lights to them without any heat issues.
Cap is fitted with M3 countersunk machine screws you could also use self tapping countersunk screws).
The flex arm was an item I had from an older defunct lamp that i recycled. this had a 9mm diameter mounting thread & tapered nut. I therefore modelled a matching tapered mounting boss.
