This is a **case for holding a MT3608 boost converter**.
I designed it to conveniently **raise the Raspberry Pi's 5v output to 12v** for use with a [FS1000A 433MHz transmitter](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6771053), but the MT3608 boost converter itself is more versatile as its output voltage can be set manually using a potentiometer, up to 28v.
**Parts needed:**
* MT3608 boost converter ([AliExpress](https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007508800676.html))
* Arduino pins (male pins: [AliExpress](https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006034877497.html))
* Dupont jumper wires (female-to-female : [AliExpress](https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002000655439.html))
* Your favorite filaments for printing the case
* You'll also need to have a multimeter and soldering iron at hand
**Step 1. Prepare the MT3608**
1. Solder the Arduino pins to VIN+, VIN-, VOUT+, VOUT-
2. **To avoid damaging the MT3608 module** by requesting an output voltage lower than input, proceed as follows:
