I wanted a convenient solution for cleaning an maintaining my MTB (and not another thing in my storage).
I already had a MTB and a Douglas 12x12 wood beam, so let's go!
A sizeable project, and all just for the fun of it...
The vertical beam is part of a hammock pergola, a recent addition to our garden, which was absolutely necessary to get us through the going-nowhere-vacation.
The hammock-eyeleds-bolts&nuts where the main focus of the design.
As was trying to make the design hold a 12kg bike at 25cm distance.
But a small warning...
A normal of the counter MTB maintenance mount will not cost as much as this.
Maybe I overdid it a bit, but I used 3 spools of filament to make it.
The printing time too was hilarious, close to 4 weeks.
