From Rough Sketch to SolidWorks Assembly 🛠️ I’m excited to share the progress on my latest manufacturing project! Every great design starts with a simple pen-and-paper sketch to capture dimensions and intent. For this adjustable support assembly, I focused on: Precision Modeling: Translating manual measurements into a fully functional 3D assembly. Design for Manufacturing (DfM): Utilizing sheet metal features to ensure accurate flat patterns and bend allowances. Mechanical Functionality: Integrating adjustable pivot points for modular use.
