My brother brought home a broken Dremel Press. However, it still included many high-quality parts, so I decided to convert it into a multi-tool press, which uses a self-centering double-V-jaw custom vice to clamp different tools, from soldering irons to drills.
Printing Notes:
The large vice plates are very structurally important. To prevent bending under load from heavy tools like drills, it is recommended to use 35% triangular infill, and the infill direction must be set correctly, where the parallel lines the triangles form run from left to right, creating strength for torques applied along the up-down axis on the front.
For other parts I used 25% cuboidal infill.
All parts were created out of ABS plastic, with a 5+mm brim, bed adhesive, and 6 wall loops for strength and warp-prevention. I do not recommend brittle plastics like PLA because the press will face heavy forces from rotation with drilling, clamping tools down, and holding heavy tools.
