Multiboard Medium Command Strip Offset Pillar

After trying out a few mounting options for the excellent Multiboard system I wanted to use the 6.25mm offset pillars due to their better stability and strength than the A/B snaps but I wanted to retain the command strip mounting and easy removal and re-install of some of the snap based options. After a bit of experimenting I landed up putting together a command strip based 6.25mm offset pillar mount and thought I'd share for others that may find it useful. I'm using the “Command Medium Refill Hanging Wall Adhesive Strips”, note: these are NOT the velcro based command strips but are adhesive only and are therefore quite a lot cheaper and still allow for rental friendly damage free removal. These are rated for 1.3kg / 3lbs per strip, so with 4 per tile these should be able to hold up around 5kgs. I've tested this on my painted plasterboard walls and it seem to hold up fine, but obviously do your own testing somewhere out of sight in case you paintwork doesn't quite manag
