Multiplex is a high-difficulty mechanical packing puzzle inspired by Manchester encoding, a classic data-encoding system. The goal is to pack four precisely shaped pieces into a square tray. Out of 196,608 possible combinations, only one solution exists, making this a true single-solution logic puzzle for experienced solvers and puzzle collectors. Manchester coding is a method where each data bit is represented by a transition — low to high or high to low — creating a self-clocking signal that was widely used in early data recording systems and is still found in modern technology. This elegant logic became the foundation for Multiplex. Your challenge is to fit four uniquely shaped pieces, each with Manchester-encoded edges, into the square tray. While there are 196,608 theoretical combinations, only one single correct solution exists. Solving it requires patience, logical thinking, and the ability to stay calm when progress feels impossible. For safe storage and travel, Multiplex includes a protective lid, making it a perfect companion puzzle for collectors and serious solvers alike.
