Like it's predecessor, this one has no useful purpose. I made it to test the viability of the new infill options in Superslicer and PrusaSlicer called Lightning.
What Lightning does is leave the interior volume mostly empty, but with just enough internal structure to provide support for the top-most layers. The method makes the interior look pretty messy during printing, but the end result - because you only see the outside surface - looks fine.
Lightning infill makes a huge difference in print time and filament usage for designs like this that have a large internal volume. For this print I used the Lightning infill option at 13%, and the print time was a little over 11 hours. But with Triangular infill (my standard option) the print time would have been about 15 3/4 hours because of the need to fill the entire in
