Music box

Found these music box mechanisms for relatively cheap.

Made wooden boxes for them (you can of course also buy ready made boxes), then went about designing a simple enclosure in which I can put the music box mechanism to hide it, and make it look nice.

The bottom section allows for the screws to be added through the wooden bottom from below and the floor of the music box which then also fixes the music box to the wooden box, no glue. The top part of the music box is then super glued into place. I added small edges to help put the top into place.

One larger hole is added for the winding mechanism to stick through (screwed in from below). This means the wooden box needs to be raised to clear the winding handle. So made small feet which still
