Mutoscopes, most popularly used as peep show viewers, brought moving pictures to the masses in the late 1800's. This version can be 3D printed as two pieces. Just supply 24 still images from your favorite video. The original mutoscopes used images printed on stiff cards that got flipped past a metal tab. With this version, each picture slides into its own frame so you can just print and cut out your photos using any paper.This prints as two pieces (base, carousel), neither requiring supports. Use exactly a 0.4mm line width for printing. I printed this in PLA, but other materials should work OK, too. You need 24 printed images (64x51mm, or 2.5 x 2 inches) from your favorite video. Practically, you can spin this anywhere from 8 to 24 frames/sec, so space your images accordingly.Ideally the images should be printed on heavyweight paper or card stock.
