My Chip Clip

Hey All, thought I'd finally share a design I made up. One of my favourite things about 3D printing is making practical/useful items, and this is one of them. It's based on other designs here, but not exactly a remix as I built it from scratch. But I will mention the inspiration came mostly from "Chip Clip" by mistertech ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3005988 ) when I saw he used rubber bands as a means of tension for the clip.

I had been printing and using other chip clips that rely on the material for tension (basically a peg), but they almost all break over time (I guess PLA gets brittle!) When I saw the rubber band idea, I knew I had to make one.

I wanted the design to be a single model that you simply print two of and put together. Just needs a rubber band (I use two, twisted several times) to give it the "spring".
