N Gauge Simple Track

Kid friendly N Gauge track
I wanted to create an N gauge track that would make it easier for young children to put the railroad engine and cars on the track; aside benefit is that it does not allow the train to derail easily. I designed it to use 3mm wide copper foil tape to fit in the slots; it fits well and is easy to apply. (Uxcell Double-Sided Conductive Tape Copper Foil Tape Adhesive Adhesive 3mm x 30m/98.4ft) I used clear double sided tape to adhere it to the poster board, and put the foil on as one long strip.
If you want to use the track pieces individually, you must fold the foil tape a little over the ends to make continuous contact. I have found that with certain locomotives with drivers, the drivers can come in contact with the road bed.
