The plastic version of Nelo's footrest has two rubber feet to avoid flex in the foot plate. These feet are a bit too small and might even make marks in the foot well if you are pushing hard. This is an extender of the pegs, giving a wider support against the bottom. The footrest becomes rock solid.

The model is made for straight printing, the "buckets" will lean out a little bit. The footwell itself has a curved bottom and when the model is printed you should pre bend the mid part until the buckets are parallel.

To avoid scratches from sand etc, add a layer of plastic film underneath. I use two layers of plastic tape.

To mount the support, screw the pegs up as much as possible. Pull the foot plate backwards (towards the seat) and slide the support in from the same side. Turn the pegs down into the buckets and make them sit tight.
