NEMA17 mount

This is a parametric stepper mount based on the metalic stepper mounts for the NEMA17 stepper motor. I used the model to print a mount for mock-up purposes for a Prusa i3 type printer made from 2040 extrusion profiles, while awaiting the delivery of the actual stepper motor mount.

The photos are from an earlier design without the corner cut-offs.

If you use this for an actual stepper mount, be sure to print it with a filament with a high glass temperature as steppers get hot! E.g. ABS or a high temperature resistant co-polyester. Also the triangular corner stiffeners need to be enlarged to give the mount more rigidity. Please use this at your own risk.
